Carla De Bona is the co-founder of (reprograma), a women’s empowerment initiative focused on reducing the gender gap in the technology sector through education. With more than 12 years experience in UI/UX design, De Bona is a consultant for sprint design, mentors startups in UX design, and teaches at UX bootcamps. In 2007, De Bona took 2nd place in the WorldSkills Competition, the world’s largest professional training competition. De Bona has an M.S. in Communications and Semiotics and is a professor of IED postgraduate studies and the FIAP MBA.

Nebrass Lamouchi is a passionate Java developer, speaker, and author of technical books. He was a NetBeans Dream Team member from January 2016 to December 2017. Lamouchi is also a project leader at the OWASP Foundation, and has worked on the Barbarus Project since March 2013. He has participated in and organized Java and cloud workshops in Europe and Africa.

Dr. Venkat Subramaniam is the founder of Agile Developer, Inc. He is also an award-winning author, and a professor at the University of Houston. He has mentored thousands of software developers in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is a frequent speaker at international conferences. Subramaniam is the co-author of multiple books, including the 2007 Jolt Productivity award-winning book, Practices of an Agile Developer. His latest book is Functional Programming in Java: Harnessing the Power of Java 8 Lambda Expressions.
